Where to Stay

Lake Tekapo is the closest town (~20 min from the venue) and makes the easiest base, with hotels, motels and holiday homes. Twizel (~45 min) and Lake Pukaki are lovely alternatives. November is busy in the Mackenzie, so we recommend booking early.

A stunning spot worth the 1 hr 20 min drive, with the Hermitage Hotel, lodges, motels and backpackers right beneath the mountain.

Lake Tekapo →

The closest town (~20 min), with hotels, motels and the hot pools on your doorstep.

Twizel township →

About 45 min from the venue, with a good range of motels, cabins and holiday homes.

Wishing Well

The most important thing is to have you with us on our special day. No gifts are needed or expected. However, we have been asked what we need or would like. If you do wish to give us something, a contribution to our wishing well would be great but only if this is on your heart.
